France: Increased profile for Gausseron at Dexia
As of May 1 this year, Benoit Gausseron is director of communications and brand at the retail and commercial bank Dexia Group, replacing Marc Meyer. Since 2008, Gausseron was responsible for media relations and information at Dexia.
He began his career as spokesperson for the chairman of the UDF, the Union for French Democracy, from 1995 to 1996, before becoming director of communications for the City of Vincennes until 1998 and then joining EDF as head of communications for the regional delegation of Alsace. He has also worked as press secretary at the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, as well as at the Ministry of Employment, Labour and Social Cohesion.
