France: Salge appointed to head communications
Banque Palatine, one of the oldest French banks still being run and a full branch subsidiary of the mutual group BPCE, has named Karine Saliège as communications director. She is a member of the executive committee.
Saliege, a marketing graduate of the Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Saint-Etienne, began her career in 1997 as a consultant to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Saint-Etienne before joining the Club Mediterranean in the position of personnel manager.
Saliége joined the banking sector in 1999, working for ING Direct, eventually becoming responsible for external communication and relations. In 2005, she joined Sanpaolo Bank as Director of External Communications.
