Norway: Drangeid appointed EVP, Communications
Aker Solutions have appointed Geir Arne Drangeid to the post of Executive Vice President (EVP) in Corporate Communications. Drangeid has taken over from Jannik Lindbęk jr, who was appointed Vice President at Statoil ASA, with responsibility for media relations and corporate communications.
Drangeid has worked in communications at Aker for twenty years. Between 1996 and 2004, he led the communications functions in companies that are, today, part of Aker Solutions. He has held a similar role in the industrial investment company Aker ASA since 2004 which, through its ownership in Aker Holding, is the main shareholder in Aker Solutions. He started his new role on March 1st.
