Scott moves from BBC to BofE
Jenny Scott has been appointed Director of Communications at the Bank of England, where she will succeed Peter Rodgers when he retires at the end of June. Scott began her career at the Bank as an economist, and in her new role will report to the Governor of the Bank, Mervyn King. Scott studied economics at Cambridge, and is the author of The Living Economy (2000).
She has also worked as a reporter for Reuters and the BBC.
